Focuss Partners, Inc. d/b/a Focuss Service Group seeks a Regional Security Consultant – Americas to be based in Richmond, TX, and execute strategic Americas region security efforts aimed at protecting internal and client’s assets against risk of injury, loss or damage from criminal, hostile or malicious acts. Will work with the Focuss Colombia office and Latin America projects/clients as well as be responsible for business development, strategic planning, and tactical delivery of security consulting projects for external clients, including developing and implementing plans, policies, procedures, on-site threat and risk assessments, corporate security audits, non-compliance and risk investigations, travel executive management, emergency planning and response, K&R avoidance, workplace violence prevention, supply chain security and security staff management.
Must have a bachelor’s degree (or combination of education, training and experience evaluated to be equivalent to a bachelor's degree) in Security Administration or directly related field plus two (2) years of experience in a related regional security position with a major law enforcement, intelligence, public service, or multinational organization’s security department.
Must have any experience with: (i) security risk management in high or extreme risk locations, including/especially Latin America; (ii) developing and delivering relevant training programs; (iii) maintaining a relationship with foreign law enforcement and/or military; (iv) business continuity/emergency and crisis management; (v) technical security; (vi) leading large scale, enterprise wide projects; (vii) applying legislation and regulations in the field of security; and (viii) working in a corporate security environment.
Must be a Certified Protection Professional and/or Certified Fraud Examiner.
Must be fluent (written and spoken) in Spanish and Portuguese.
Must be able and willing to travel domestically and internationally to various unanticipated employer, client, and other locations up to 50%.
